Space Foundation Recognition of CEAVCO’s AV Production Support

Every year, CEAVCO Audio Visual provides AV production support for the Space Symposium, sponsored by Space Foundation. In May, Kathleen S. Vinson, Vice President – Operations at Space Foundation, wrote a letter to Account Executive Brian Miller recognizing our team’s efforts. Below, we’ve included an excerpt.

“On behalf of our Board of Directors and the entire Space Foundation team, we would like to thank the CEAVCO team for setting the stage for a very successful 34th Space Symposium. This year truly was the best event we’ve accomplished thus far. … There were so many changes and special requirements requested …. [E]verything was flawlessly executed.

“Steve Struble … went the extra mile to be sure every detail was addressed, and we enjoyed working with Eric Newkirk as the program manager …. We challenged Mark Beazley … with more people for the Tech Track program requiring overflow setup and larger-than-ever lunch events throughout the week. Mark stepped up to the challenge and then some, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and looked professional. He guided our team through the audio visual requirements of their events with patience and aplomb.

CEAVCO’s Hiring Growth Continues Nonstop

Over the past two years, CEAVCO Audio Visual has hired a number of new employees to expand the company’s Management, Production, Warehouse, and Creative Services teams. This week, we’d like to welcome to Production Manager Nick Moore and Project Manager Rich Boulton.

Nick has worked in the industry since 1995. Rich has worked in the industry since 2007. In their new roles at CEAVCO, Nick and Rich both work to ensure customer satisfaction through the detail-oriented planning and execution of successful client events.

They share new ideas with clients to improve audience engagement; manage show budgets, venue permits, and travel logistics; perform site visits; create production schedules, floor plans, and diagrams; maintain effective communication with clients throughout the lifecycle of each event; oversee CEAVCO staff, independent contractors, and union labor; and perform post-show followup and reporting.

CEAVCO Attends the RSN 2018 Leadership Symposium

In July, Rental & Staging Network (RSN) members and partners enjoyed three days of education and networking at the RSN 2018 Leadership Symposium in Rochester, New York.

Steve Uzzell, author of Open Roads Open Minds, delivered the keynote. Executives participated in a Catalytic Coaching discussion led by Gary Markle, Energage. Dan Lamphier of CMI led project managers and vendor partners in an interactive discussion on the latest technologies and best practices. General sessions featured case studies, Spark Talks, and a panel discussion on leadership.

CEAVCO Audio Visual is the founding member of RSN, a highly selective professional organization of top-tier North American audio visual production companies. The RSN Leadership Symposium is a collaborative forum where leaders in the audio visual industry share knowledge, lessons learned, and the latest event and technology trends.

CEAVCO Provides Audio Visual Support for Denver Broncos Kickoff Luncheon

On August 29th, CEAVCO Audio Visual provided audio visual production support for the Denver Broncos’ seventh annual Kickoff Luncheon at the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse, located at the UCHealth Training Center.

Members of the CEAVCO team were honored to be seated with Broncos players and had the opportunity to meet several Broncos legends.

This extraordinary fundraising event brought in more than $250,000 for Denver Broncos Charities. As a partner of the Denver Broncos, CEAVCO is proud to have played a part in this important event.

CEAVCO’s AV Technician Team Continues to Grow

Over the past two years, CEAVCO Audio Visual has hired many new employees to expand the company’s Management, Production, Warehouse, and Creative Services teams. This week, we’d like to give an overdue welcome to AV Warehouse Technicians John Safarik and Chris Carchedi.

John is a former CEAVCO freelancer who has worked in the industry since 2010. Chris has worked in the industry since 2007. As warehouse technicians, they process incoming and outgoing audio visual equipment and materials (e.g.,video recorders, projectors, and lighting and sound mixing equipment) and pick and fill orders from stock. The position is crucial to the accuracy of equipment on show site and the organization of equipment in the warehouse.
