In this short, entertaining deep dive video, Eric Newkirk, Vice President of Design and Creative at CEAVCO Audio Visual, describes the challenges and benefits of holding an event at an unconventional space. As he explains, unconventional spaces can help attendees experience events with fresh eyes. The key is to plan ahead and build a strong team to manage risks and handle all the details.
In this short video clip, CEAVCO Production Technician John Safarik describes how above-and-beyond service and the audiovisual production experience of CEAVCO’s team form an unbeatable combination that differentiates us from the competition.
CEAVCO’s Eric Newkirk, Brett Kolesarek, and Justin Read attended the Rental & Staging Network (RSN) Leadership Symposium from July 17-19 in Philadelphia. The symposium was hosted by RSN member company Advanced Staging Productions. In addition to education, the annual symposium gives members the opportunity to strengthen a sense of community with RSN peers and vendor partners and share knowledge and new ideas.
At the symposium, Eric, CEAVCO’s Vice President of Design and Creative, and other RSN member executives learned about the four pillars of talent optimization. Eric, who serves as the RSN Conference Chair, also learned how to use the results of Predictive Index Behavioral Assessments® to improve individual motivation and confidence, along with team-wide communication, coaching, mentorship, and trust. Brett focused on project management-related topics, while Justin participated in workshops geared toward emerging leaders. Justin will also participate in an ongoing RSN leadership development program.
RSN is a highly selective professional organization of top-tier North American audio visual production companies. RSN members provide a consistent level of professionalism, capabilities, and live event production experience nationwide. CEAVCO is a founding member of RSN, and CEAVCO’s ongoing active participation in RSN demonstrates our commitment to advancing the industry, investing in continuing education, and creating value for our clients and their attendees.
In this entertaining deep dive video, Eric Newkirk, Vice President of Design and Creative at CEAVCO Audio Visual, describes the benefits of holding some events in unconventional spaces such as airplane hangers, museums, mountaintop ski lodges, warehouses, and outside tents. He suggests using the space to your advantage – instead of covering up the space, embrace quirks and make the space a conversation piece.
As Eric also explains, events held in unconventional spaces often have greater attendee engagement and excitement. And unconventional spaces don’t have to be risky or costly, especially when you choose an audio visual production partner experienced in turning traditional events into something exciting and new.
