Video Department Manager

As a CEAVCO Audio Visual Video Department Manager, you will team up with the production team, sales, and project management to design and execute video solutions for live events across the country. As the department head, you will lead the implementation of show solutions and equipment purchases. In this position you will spend time in the office and on show working with colleagues and clients.

How you will make a difference?

  • Assist sales team in specifying and selling video solutions.
  • Use your technical expertise to elevate client and audience experiences.
  • Research manufacturers and vendors to specify equipment purchases.
  • Assist, supervise, and/or perform installation, wiring, and setup of video systems as well as rigging/alignment of projectors.
  • Operate video and presentation switching systems.
  • Camera matching/shading in live multi-camera shoots.
  • Color balancing displays.
  • Assist, supervise, and/or perform strike of installation.
  • Design video kits and packages and specify pricing structure.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of video inventory.
  • Serve as video technology and applications specialist staying abreast of new technologies and techniques.

Qualifications

  • 5 plus years of video engineering, projection, presentation support, and onsite event experience
  • Advanced knowledge of projection, display, signal flow, encoding, software, video engineering, IT systems, communications systems, principles of broadcast, lighting, photography, videography, recording, streaming
  • Valid driver’s license

Lighting Designer

Position Title: Internal Project Coordinator

Position Overview: Team with sales and project management to create show orders in R2 ensuring the orders are complete and accurate.  When necessary the coordinator will adjust and update orders to match project managers and client’s expectation for the event.  This position will research orders for operations when there is a lack of critical information.  

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales and operations in creating show orders
  • Work with project managers to trouble shoot show orders
  • Work with the design team as necessary
  • Input orders into R2
  • Timely creation of event budgets
  • Maintain proper documentation of orders
  • Obtain CAD drawings and show requirements
  • Communicating with venues for requirements
  • Work with Internal departments to answer billing questions
  • Travel within the Denver Metro area for site surveys
  • Data entry for larger events

Position Requirements:

  • Strong R2 or inventory software experience
  • Must be comfortable building A/V show orders
  • Good communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize

Experience:
Must have 5 plus years of A/V knowledge and onsite event experience

This position will report to Operations
$25 an hour

Position Title: Audio Visual Warehouse Technician

Position Overview:
Technicians in the warehouse perform an array of functions that include processing incoming and outgoing audio visual equipment and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This position is crucial to the accuracy of equipment on show site and the organization of equipment in the warehouse.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Process shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in equipment.
  • Prepare orders by processing show requests and pulling equipment, packing boxes,   and placing show orders in delivery area.
  • Sort and place equipment or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Assist in annual inventory process.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Responsible for picking up and returning cross rentals to show site and returning them to vendors.
  • Experience with Audio Visual experience a plus.

Qualification requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Good communication, organizational, time management and basic mathematical skills.
  • Dependable, reliable and prompt.
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive a box truck.

Physical demands and abilities:

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to climb and balance.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Position Title: Account Executive

Position Overview:
Attract and maintain relationships with prospective and current clients to achieve recurring annual event production revenue for the company. Serve as the point person for new business opportunities gathered through the Business Development process.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and conduct face-to-face capabilities presentations
  • Prepare persuasive, error-free, and articulate proposals
  • Invite and host prospects to events produced by CEAVCO
  • Execute information sharing processes and respond to clients and team members promptly and completely
  • Use existing portfolio of shows and other sources to present new ideas to prospects and clients
  • Track and maintain current information and status of opportunities
  • Maintain client retention with prompt service and considerate post-show follow up
  • Execute company processes for obtaining final settlements on shows and invoicing
  • Attend site visits and pre-convention meetings
  • Grow accounts by increasing the scope of services offered to existing clients
  • Grow accounts by servicing new clients within the same account
  • Grow the number of accounts by prospecting and by obtaining referrals from existing contacts

Communication:
Communicate with clients, staff, and crew to effectively meet production goals, communicate ideas, and offer thought provoking solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups and in one-on-one settings
  • Ability to use presentation systems
  • Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of the company
  • Ability to be resilient in the face of rejection
