Jack Emerson started CEAVCO on January 21, 1961 – 60 years ago today – with the goals of creating a great workplace and providing exceptional customer support. From the start, Jack wanted to be in business for himself and build a company that would stand the test of time. Entrepreneurialism is about identifying a need and fulfilling it, and Jack developed a lifelong reputation for honoring his entrepreneurial vision and doing the right thing.
For starters, Jack knew that surrounding himself with smart, forward-thinking people was key to business success. As he used to say, “You have to be ready to adapt to changes in the marketplace and changes in technology, and we have done that over the years.”
In 2020, events around the world were cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19. In response to this industry-wide upheaval, all of us at CEAVCO asked the hard questions about how we can provide value to our clients and empower them to achieve the outcomes they seek. In response, we now offer virtual event platforms, and we built two world-class studios and added a depth and breadth of new skills. For clients old and new, we’ve been producing exceptional prerecorded and live-in-studio town halls, keynote presentations, panel discussions, award shows, fundraisers, performances, and workshops.
Jack’s original vision from 1961 has remained at the core of CEAVCO’s ability to adapt to changes in the marketplace and deliver the support and value our clients need. We would like to thank our team for their willingness to step up to every challenge and our clients for continually putting their trust in us throughout this past year. To celebrate our 60th anniversary, we’re sharing this behind-the-scenes video of father/son team Jack and Matt Emerson. We’re proud to say that Jack’s entrepreneurial spirit lives on.
