When the Denver Public Library’s annual fundraiser needed to go virtual, they reached out to CEAVCO. Together, we reimagined their signature Booklovers Ball. CEAVCO provided virtual event production support for the event. Event highlights included a cocktail-mixing demonstration with a professional mixologist, a talk by New York Times bestselling and award-winning author Kwame Alexander, a swing band performance and professional dance lesson, and several inspirational stories and presentations.
Denver Public Library hosted its virtual ball in one of CEAVCO’s world-class studios. We prerecorded some segments of the event in studio and also produced live-streamed portions of the event, including segments with an emcee, a live auction, and board member presentations. We integrated live and prerecorded elements seamlessly.
This high-energy event had high turnout, along with a high audience retention rate, strong audience engagement, and a definite “wow” factor. Denver Public Library held a highly successful virtual fundraiser, all without room capacity restrictions or the need to rent a space or pay for catered meals.
