RSN LOGOCEAVCO Audio Visual’s Eric Newkirk, Rick Eichenberger, and Sidney Reed attended the Rental & Staging Network (RSN) Leadership Symposium in Washington, DC, on July 27-29. RSN welcomed four new members, three from the US and one from Mexico. As RSN’s footprint continues to expand, members benefit from peer-based learning and diversity of event design and production experience.

5This year’s theme was Exceptional Experience, and creativity was a key focus of the Symposium. Member companies engaged in in-depth conversations about creative services offerings and other ways to elevate the attendee experience.

CEAVCO, for one, often integrates creative services efforts into the video, audio, lighting, and staging solutions we provide our customers. As just one example, our Creative Services team often helps meeting planners “see” their events in advance by producing detailed concept renderings.2016-07-28 14.44.58

Says Sidney, CEAVCO’s Creative Services Manager, “A visual depiction is key to helping people understand how a space can look and feel. If I tried to explain what a Tesla car looks like, I might say it’s an awesome-looking electric vehicle with a sleek interior. But if I hand you drawings that show the Tesla inside and out, you would get a much better idea as to why this car is so special.”

As with all RSN meetings, the Symposium provided a great opportunity to network, discuss best practices and technology solutions face to face with fellow RSN members, and brainstorm ideas for RSN’s continued growth.

RSN member companies are part of an alliance across North America of the audio visual industry’s best providers, offering a consistent level of professionalism, knowledge, capabilities, and live event production experience wherever their clients’ events are happening.
