To support MJBizCon, an annual event held by Marijuana Business Daily, CEAVCO trickled out a series of prerecorded presentations over the course of a month, leading up to their three big show days. We essentially created a broadcast channel and changed up the content each day. We recorded 26 videos and produced 20 sessions that were streamed live. A host navigated live panel discussions with remote participants using a talk show format.
In an industry moving as fast as the cannabis industry, innovation and timeliness were critical elements of the month-long event. The virtual space transformed their conference strategy. Distributing content over time made that content more accessible and gave their conference a longer life than in-person events. As a result, we helped to improve their geographical reach and enabled them to better connect with people all over the world.
