The Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) is a non-profit association focused on the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of schools and higher education facilities. When their LearningSCAPES educational conference went virtual in 2020, they turned to CEAVCO for production support. The goal was to optimize the use of virtual technology to enable K-12 educators, architects, designers, and industry leaders to get the most out of the three days of learning and collaboration.

CEAVCO built an event portal using customized virtual event technology in order to give conference attendees a central platform where they could find event information (agenda, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and awards). We collaborated closely with the organization to get them show-ready by prerecording sessions and livestreaming the event opening and closing.

Conference content and recordings are archived on the event portal and were made available after the conference ended. Remote attendees have taken full advantage of the on-demand functionality to watch or re-watch event sessions at their convenience, increasing their exposure to content that they might have missed due to schedule conflicts or concurrent sessions. Conference videos are getting thousands of views. Carla Cummins, A4LE Director of Meetings, wrote, “We were pleased with the conference. It was a success solely due to your team. We will definitely touch base when we get ready for our next event!”
