In 2021, the Society for Biomaterials (SFB) and Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) decided that they needed a more professional virtual production than DIY Zoom. CEAVCO built a custom WordPress platform and pre-recorded many educational sessions for the client. The events included up to eight concurrent live sessions, and presenters and attendees came from every time zone in the world. OARSI, SFB, and their event attendees loved the events and praised CEAVCO’s event production support.
Both events included plenary sessions, panel discussions, rapid-fire presentations, networking sessions, and integration of Gather.town into our virtual platform. (Gather.town is a networking experience involving 2D virtual spaces that enabled attendees to interact more effectively online.) OARSI also included live e-poster presentations and Q&A sessions where each speaker had five minutes to introduce infographics of their work to the diverse audience. SFB included a memorial page and chat session as well.
