Live music and a classic film — it’s a winning combination. Holiday classic Home Alone featured composer John Williams’ delightful score performed live by the Colorado Symphony as the film was shown on large, suspended screens in Boettcher Concert Hall. It was a fun experience working in the entertainment space with professional musicians in order to engage holiday audiences in a special way!

What did our crew do over the Thanksgiving holiday? They supported the Colorado Symphony’s Movie at the Symphony: Home Alone in Concert. For the past 26 years, CEAVCO Audio Visual has been a proud sponsor of the annual Denver Film Festival. This year, the Denver Film Society honored CEAVCO founder Jack Emerson, who passed away on July 12.
Denver Film Society Executive Director Andrew Rodgers and CEAVCO President Matt Emerson each gave a tribute to Jack prior to the showing of the festival’s closing-night film. It was a touching moment and a reminder of the Denver Film Society’s admiration for Jack and respect for his partnership, commitment and support over the years.

Over the past two years, CEAVCO Audio Visual has hired many new employees to expand the company’s Management, Production, Warehouse, and Creative Services teams. This week, we’d like to welcome AV Warehouse Technicians Joshua Fortenberry and Troy Johnson.
Joshua and Troy process incoming and outgoing audio visual equipment and materials (e.g., video recorders, projectors, and lighting and sound mixing equipment), as well as pack and ship orders. The position is crucial to the accuracy of equipment on show site and the organization of equipment in the warehouse.
